 NOGA GENEVA v. UBS |
| NOGA GENEVA
Representation of Noga Geneva, a company owned by
Mr. Nessim Gaon of Geneva and owning the Noga
Hilton Hotel Geneva, in legal proceedings against
Swiss banks UBS, Credit Swiss and BNP. Adv.
Michael Shachor, head of the commercial and
litigation department, laid down the strategy of
litigation in Geneva against the realization of
mortgages held by the above Swiss banks on the
assets of the Noga Hilton Hotel Geneva, claiming
that the mortgage does not apply with regard to
the hotel's business (valued at apprx. Half a
billion Swiss Franks) but only with regard to the
hotel building. The proceedings were handled in
Switzerland by local Swiss attorneys, supervised
by Adv. Michael Shachor, who laid out the legal
strategy, as aforesaid.
